Fab friends

The Fabulous Friends class at First Presbyterian Day School held a bake sale to raise money for Holiday Potpourri, the school’s annual fund-raising event. They also created an art piece that they donated to the event’s silent auction.

Michael Corkern III, St. Joseph Catholic School junior, is one of 51 students – one from each state and the District of Columbia – selected to attend a June conference on journalism in Washington.

Top hats

A five-year-old kindergarten class at Madison Ridgeland Academy celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday with “Top Hat Tuesday.”  That week they also did an experiment using eggs to see how coffee, soda, and water would affect their teeth.
