The west side of Jackson Street is about to get more commercial development. Ridgeland city officials recently approved architectural reviews for parcels 206, 208 and 210 on West Jackson Street.
Patrick Rowland is the developer for the proposal.
“It’s just more of the same thing (the developer’s) been doing,” Alan Hart, community development director, said. “An office above and an office below is generally what he’s done.”
Hart said Rowland’s development should completely fill out the west side of Jackson Street.
“It’s just going to be the Olde Towne layout,” Rowland said. “It’s the last three buildings, actually, in the development. There are nine total on the street…”
Rowland said each building will be approximately 3,500 square feet, and construction should be complete within the next five months.
“We went through the mayor’s board on Monday, so I should be getting (building) permits within the next two weeks.”
