A WOMAN was almost robbed in broad daylight recently at the CVS Pharmacy in Deville Plaza.
The store is located at 1420 Canton Mart Rd.
On the afternoon of July 26, the woman had just left the store and was walking to her car when she was approached by an unidentified black male.
Jackson Police Department spokeswoman Colendula Green said the suspect got out of an unidentified vehicle, pointed a gun at her and “told her to give it up,” Green said.
The woman screamed and ran into the store, where police were contacted.
