Candidates not violating sign ordinances, Madison County officials say
OFFICIALS in south Madison County say candidates for chancery clerk and statewide races have been obeying sign ordinances and haven’t put out too many signs where they don’t belong.
Candidates for the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, along with three local Republicans gunning for chancery clerk in a special election, will face off June 3.
“It’s been a very, very quiet political season. And we’re very happy,” said Madison Director of Neighborhood Services George Ellmore with a laugh.
