A Conversation with Jason Walton on plans for Jackson Prep
The Jason Walton era has begun at Jackson Preparatory School. Walton began as head of school on July 1, replacing longtime head of school Susan Lindsay. Walton, a fourth-generation Mississippian and fourth-generation educator, holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Mississippi and a doctorate from Vanderbilt University. He and his wife, Laurie Bearden Walton, have two children: Caroline, 11, and John William, 5.
