Council to decide on fate of proposed parking lot for Highland Village
More details have emerged on a plan to close off a portion of Kimwood Drive and turn two residential lots into an overflow parking lot for Highland Village.
The Jackson City Council will decide next week on the plans, which were narrowly approved by the Jackson planning board in March. The council will meet April 21 at City Hall.
The plan calls for tearing down two vacant houses in the Kimwood neighborhood (1305 and 1306 Kimwood Dr.) in order to build a parking lot for employees and customers of Whole Foods and Highland Village.
