Everything old comes back around again in a new form, especially in gardens. Plants our grandmothers grew and liked, especially those that took care of themselves between spectacular blooming seasons, were treasured and appreciated.
And while many of today’s gardeners like the native or original forms of these plants, most also like ‘new and improved,’ especially if the ‘new’ is striking, and the ease of growing isn’t diminished.
