High court upholds rental ordinance
AN APPEALS COURT has upheld the conviction of Mike Crook on two counts of violating the city of Madison’s rental ordinance.
Crook was arrested in October 2010 for renting out a house without a rental license. The Madison Municipal Court convicted him of two counts of renting without a license in January 2011. Crook has appealed his conviction to the county court of Madison County, the circuit court, and the Mississippi Court of Appeals.
