MADISON COUNTY officials and business leaders are partnering to develop a long-range economic development plan that one man says could bring $100 million in new investment to the county.
“My expectation, as a former economic developer and economic development consultant, is that within 24 months of concluding the plan we would win at least $100 million of new investment and 1,000 new jobs for the county,” said Madison County Foundation Chairman Mark Bounds.
“That’s my vision and expectation of what we should want out of this program.”
