Madison County to refinance bonds
MADISON COUNTY will save about $200,000 over the next 14 years by refinancing two series of general obligation bonds.
“We have approved the resolution authorizing the board president to sign the documents. So we’ll watch the rates, and when we see that we’re going to get a good savings, we’re going to lock it in right quick,” said County Administrator Mark Houston.
“Our financial advisors are Government Consultants. They look at all the sophisticated information. This could happen in the next few weeks or months.”
