THE CITY OF MADISON is keeping busy cleaning up unsightly yards and properties.
Two weeks ago, city officials held public hearings on four separate properties in need of work. And the building and permits department has done more than $7,000 worth of work on parts of the former Northbay golf course.
“We’re kind of overwhelmed,” said Building and Permits Director Bill Foshee, whose department oversees code enforcement in the city.
