Mr. and Mrs. Mark Richard Green announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Lauren Green, to Clifton Burnell Egger III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Burnell Egger Jr.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Franklin Green, and Dr. and Mrs. Heber Simmons Jr., all of Jackson. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mrs. Clifton Burnell Egger Sr. and the late Mr.  Egger of Madison, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carey Dickey Sr. of Hernando.
