Mr. and Mrs. John Edgar Lynch announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Myhr Lynch, to Stewart Jennings Hood, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Wilson Hood.

Miss Lynch is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hines Williford of Brookhaven, formerly of Jackson, and Dr. and Mrs. William F. Lynch of Madison. Hood is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick William Merrill, and the late Jack Stewart Jennings, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Warren Alton Hood Sr.
