Mr. and Mrs. David Prather of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Keating Elizabeth Marie Prather, to Philip Douglas Polk, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert G. Polk.
The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of the Mississippi School of the Arts, and in May received her bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University in psychology. At MSU, she participated in research projects in the psychology lab, taught fitness classes, formed a campus bellydance troupe, and maintained a close association with her hometown dance troupe, the Queen City Gypsies of Meridian.
