Nixing inspection stickers tops Cecil Brown’s priority list for 2014 legislature
If one Northside lawmaker has his way, motorists will no longer have to get inspection stickers.
In 2014, District 66 Rep. Cecil Brown will again propose a measure doing away with the statute that requires motorists to obtain an annual vehicle inspection sticker.
It will be one of several items the longtime representative will be focused on during the 2014 legislative session. Brown also will be presenting legislation that would require internal auditors for most state agencies, push for expanding Medicaid, and push for fully funding public schools.
