Ridgeland could look west for future growth
BUSINESSES AND HOMES continue cropping up in Ridgeland – and although the city is bordered by Madison and Jackson to the north and south, it still has undeveloped land and room to grow westward, said Mayor Gene McGee.
“We’re seeing a wide variety [of commercial and residential development]. But we’ve got plenty of areas to develop,” McGee said.
A new section of the Bridgewater subdivision is being added on the west side of town, and new subdivisions are being developed on Highway 51 and Towne Center Boulevard, east of I-55.
