A RECENT UPDATE TO Ridgeland’s transportation plan includes few big changes, but officials hope the plan will help them acquire federal transportation dollars if they ever become available.
“The transportation plan is something that’s really aided us in obtaining federal funds. Sometimes [updating it] kind of corresponds with the new federal transportation bill,” said Ridgeland Public Works Director Mike McCollum.
