“A family for every child. Support for every family.” Thousands of children are in Mississippi’s foster care system. These children need families, and families need help. To address this crisis, Sunnybrook Children’s Home is implementing Sunnybrook Cares.

Susan Marquez (left) is the new president of the Mississippi Writers Guild, a statewide non-profit organization of writers and aspiring writers. She replaced G. Mark LaFrancis (right) who was president since 2015. Marquez is a freelance writer who has experience in advertising and marketing.
