IMS blames oversight commission for lack of progress

Jackson’s oversight commission is again being scapegoated as the reason residents aren’t seeing more work done with the city’s one-percent infrastructure sales tax.

Larry Smith is the latest Northsider to report crazy water bills from the City of Jackson Water Department.  Even when his children were living at home, his water bills averaged $130. Then his water bills became intermittent, swinging from $100 to $400 a month.
