Platt approved

A Madison subdivision is expanding. Hartford, located on N. Old Canton Road, will have two more sections added to the neighborhood.

Madison city officials recently approved the preliminary plats for parts 2A and 3A for the subdivision.

“There are 14 lots in part 2A and 20 lots in part 3A,” Kianca Stringfellow, Madison director of community development, said. “Part 2A is approximately seven acres, and part 3A is roughly 16 acres.”

Hartford already has approximately 30 homes.

Developers for the subdivision are Tim Weaver and Bill Bailey, according to Stringfellow.
