HERE IS A QUICK fact for Northsiders to note, especially as construction continues on I-55 between Madison and Ridgeland:

“Speeding fines doubled when workers are present” doesn’t necessarily mean present at the exact spot where you’re caught speeding. The workers just have to be in the same work zone as the lead foot.
