Former faculty

St. Andrew’s Episcopal School welcomed retired and former faculty members back on campus to read to students on Read Across America Day, enjoy a lunch together, and tour the new Early Childhood Center.

High tea

The Annandale Chapter DAR met in January at the Country Club of Jackson. Karen Gordon presented a program on the history of tea.  The chapter presented her a year subscription to the American Spirit DAR magazine.


The Hinds County Republican Women held their membership luncheon recently at the home of Suzie and Ashby Foote.  After a light lunch Jackson City Councilman Ashby Foote talked about happenings in Jackson.


The Garden Club of Madison held its March meeting with a luncheon at the Annandale Clubhouse. The theme for the meeting was Garden Tablescapes and Julie Moore presented a program relating flowers we can grow in gardens and then cut to design tablescapes in the homes.


Members Exchange Credit Union recently partnered with Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital to host a Miracle Workers Coin Drive as a kickoff event to the annual Mississippi Miracles Radiothon. Shown are (from left) Mitzi Tate, Karen Root, Susan Boshart and Angela Mitchell.
