Miss Brooks and Lampton planning July 29 wedding in Dallas ceremony
Mr. and Mrs. F. Stephen Brooks of Dallas announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth McNeille Brooks, to Louis Powell Lampton of Jackson.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of George McNeille Brooks of Stamford, Conn. and the late Lisbeth Gibson Brooks, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Lowber Virden III of Greenville.
Miss Brooks was a 2011 graduate of Highland Park High School in Dallas. She attended the University of Mississippi where she was a Delta Delta Delta and was graduated in 2015 with a degree in integrated marketing and communications.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Willem L. Lamar and Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Lampton of Jackson. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles D. Kilpatrick of Fairhope, Ala., and Mr. and Mrs. Leslie B. Lampton of Jackson.
The prospective bridegroom was a 2011 graduate of Jackson Preparatory School and was graduated from the University of Mississippi with a degree in geology, where he was a Phi Delta Theta.
The couple will exchange vows in an evening ceremony July 29, at the Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in Dallas, followed by a reception at the Dallas Museum of Art. The couple will live in Jackson.
