Reservoir officials approve phases two and three at Lost Rabbit Development

Two more housing phases have been approved for Lost Rabbit. Pearl River Valley Water Supply District (PRV) officials recently approved the final plats for phases 2 and 3.

“We approved the preliminary plats on these areas… four or five months ago,” PRV general manager John Sigman said. “This is the approval of the final plats now.”













Madison County addressing problems with Weisenberger Road flooding problems

Mendrop Engineering has just completed a study for Weisenberger Road, which has suffered increasing issues with flooding during heavy rains.

Madison County supervisors recently hired Mendrop to see what can be done to alleviate the issue. To completely eliminate the flooding will cost approximately $1.7 million.


Sundial holiday lights issue headed to court

The Sundial Christmas light fight is going to court. Earlier this month, attorney Eddy Edwards, neighbor of Carol and Mike Richardson, filed a personal suit against the Richardsons through the Madison County Chancery Court.

“We have an attorney now,” Carol Richardson said. “We’re going to let him handle the legal aspects of it.”
