Award of Excellence

New Summit School teacher Nick Cason received the Metro Teacher Honoree Award of Excellence from the Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership. Cason was one of 12 selected from more than 50 nominees. The award is designed to elevate the teaching profession by recognizing and awarding teachers in the metro area for quality and excellence in education, thus demonstrating the business community’s appreciation for the contribution that teachers bring to the workforce. He will be honored at a luncheon on April 12 at the Old Capitol Inn.
