Miss Cole and Howard to exchange wedding vows March 10 at Woodland Hills

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hughes Cole Jr. of Flowood announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Anne Cole, to Eddie Lane Howard II, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Lane Howard of Corinth.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Betty Rushton Truett and the late Louis Earl Rushton of Flowood, and Wilma Walker Cole and the late Charles Hughes Cole Sr. of Brookhaven. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of June Burkes Howard and the late Edward Dean Howard of Corinth, and Patsy English Jordan of Counts, Tenn., and the late James Theodore Whitehurst of Hornsby, Tenn.

Miss Cole is a 2010 honor graduate of Jackson Preparatory School. She attended Mississippi State University where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. She was graduated cum laude in 2014, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She was graduated a presidential scholar from Delta State University with a master’s in business administration.

She was presented by the Debutante Club of Mississippi in 2011. Cole is associated with Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi as a trainer.

Howard is a 2006 graduate of Corinth High School. He was graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2013, from Mississippi College School of Law. Howard is associated with the Mississippi State Auditor’s office as deputy director of the Criminal Investigations Division.

 

The couple will exchange vows March 10 at Woodland Hills Baptist Church with a reception at River Hills Club.

Following a wedding trip to the Dominican Republic, the couple will live in Madison.
