Miss Henderson and Jones planning February 10 service at First Presbyterian Church

Dr. and Mrs. David Cook Henderson of Carthage announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Katherine Henderson, to Robert Andrew Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Middleton Jones of Jackson.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Leroy Randle of Amory, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ray Ferguson Henderson of Carthage.

Dr. Henderson is a 2007 graduate of Leake Academy and a 2011 graduate of the University of Mississippi, where she received a bachelor’s degree in biology. At Ole Miss, she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority and served as vice president - standards chair. She received a master’s in biomedical sciences from Mississippi College. In May 2017, she received her doctor of dental medicine from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry. She practices general dentistry with her father in Carthage.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Frances Barnett Booth and the late Harold Eugene Booth Sr. of Clarksdale, and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Eggleston Jones Jr. of Greenville.

Jones was graduated from Jackson Preparatory School in 2005 and attended the University of Mississippi. At Ole Miss, he was a member of Kappa Alpha Order fraternity. He received a bachelor of accountancy in 2009 and a master of accountancy in 2010. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is a chief financial officer at Phillips Grain in Holly Bluff.

 

The couple will exchange vows February 10 at First Presbyterian Church of Jackson with a reception to follow at The Old Capitol Inn.

After the wedding, the couple will live in Madison.
