Miss Tedder and Parkin planning April 28 wedding at First Baptist Church

Mr. and Mrs. Flint Tedder of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Alanna Jade Tedder, to Robert Adam Parkin, the son Mr. and Mrs. Doug Parkin of Madison.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Rebecca “Beckie” Johnson Grice and the late James Paul Grice of Neshoba County, and Doris Merrelese Tedder and the late Jack Allen Tedder of Causeyville.

The perspective bridegroom is the grandson of Katie Oliver Brinson and the late James Dewey Brinson of Brandon, and Joan Humphreys Parkin and the late James Edward Parkin of Jackson.

Miss Tedder is a 2011 graduate of West Lauderdale High School. She was graduated from Mississippi College in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Parkin is a 2010 graduate of Madison Ridgeland Academy. He was graduated from Mississippi College in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He earned a master’s of divinity in Christian education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2017. He is the minister to students at First Baptist Church of Ponchatoula La.

The couple will exchange marriage vows April 28 at the First Baptist Church of Jackson chapel with a reception to follow at The Railroad District.
