Speech and Debate

St. Andrew’s Episcopal School’s middle school speech and debate team recently traveled to Hattiesburg for the Sacred Heart Middle School Invitational. Both public forum debate teams – Charles Sanders/Joy Dhar and Kara Pickett/Yasmine Ware – had winning records. Pickett and Ware were recognized as semifinalists.

Shark tank

Fifth-graders at First Presbyterian Day School participated in a Shark Tank competition in Idea Lab. Students invented products and presented models to judges, much like the television show.
